Miss Paperwork

Miss Northern Lakes' and Miss North Jersey's Outstanding TEEN Eligibility:

  • Be a citizen of the United States 

  • Must live, work, or go to school in the state of New Jersey

  • Must be at least 13 years old by June 20, 2020

  • Must be no more than 17 years old by July 31, 2020

  • May be 16 years old and a Senior or graduate by July 31, 2020

  • MUST be available January 2020 to compete for MNJOTeen

  • Must be available for public appearances as Miss Northern Lakes' Outstanding Teen

Miss Northern Lakes Eligibility:

  • Be a high school senior, at least seventeen (17) years of age on the date of the pageant and no older than twenty-five (25) years of age on | Check age requirements before registering.

  • Be a citizen of the United States 

  • Not be married, never been married, never had a marriage annulled, never had a child

  • Be available for public appearances as Miss Northern Lakes

  • Reside in, go to school full time in or work full time in the following counties:

    • Sussex

    • Essex

    • Morris

    • Warren

  • MUST be available in June 2020 to compete for Miss New Jersey

Miss Northern Highlands Eligibility:

  • Be a high school senior, at least seventeen (17) years of age on the date of the pageant and no older than twenty-five (25) years of age | Check age requirements before registering.

  • Be a citizen of the United States 

  • Not be married, never been married, never had a marriage annulled, never had a child

  • Be available for public appearances as Miss Northern Highlands

  • Reside in, go to school full time in or work full time in the following counties:

    • Middlesex

    • Union 

    • Morris

    • Warren

  • MUST be available in June 2020 to compete for Miss New Jersey

Miss North Jersey Eligibility:

  • Be a high school senior, at least seventeen (17) years of age on the date of the pageant and no older than twenty-five (25) years of age | Check age requirements before registering.

  • Be a citizen of the United States 

  • Not be married, never been married, never had a marriage annulled, never had a child

  • Be available for public appearances as Miss Northern Highlands

  • Reside in, go to school full time in or work full time in the following counties:

    • Sussex

    • Warren

    • Hudson

    • Bergen

    • Essex

    • Passaic

    • Morris

  • MUST be available in June 2020 to compete for Miss New Jersey

     Phases of Competition

​

Just as the Miss America Competition, the Miss Northern Lakes, Miss Northern Highlands and Miss North Jersey, as well as, the Miss Northern Lakes' Outstanding TEEN & Miss North Jersey's Outstanding Teen

is divided into four phases of competition.

 

Outstanding Teen Scoring:  total 100%

25% - Presentation in Interview

35% - Artistic Expression in Talent

15% - Lifestyle and Fitness

25% - Evening Wear/On-Stage Question

The competition consists of a Private Interview, Lifestyle and Fitness Routine, Talent and Evening Gown/On-Stage Question.  To be eligible, you must completely fill out a contestant contract, an application, submit a head shot, submit a 300 word platform essay, resume and $150. entry fee.

Miss Scoring: total 100%

25% - Presentation in Interview

40% - Artistic Expression in Talent

20% - Evening Wear/ Social Impact

15%% - On-Stage Question

​

 

The competition consists of a Private Interview,  Talent, Formal Wear and On-Stage Question. To be eligible, you must completely fill out a contestant contract, an application, submit a head shot, submit a 300 word platform essay, resume, raise a $100 donation for Children's Miracle Network and submit a 500 word community service essay (optional).
