Miss New Jersey Local titleholder is a leader by virtue of her experiences and takes pride in her health and physical fitness. As a Miss New Jersey Local titleholder, you will represent the Miss New Jersey Local area as an official ambassador. You will gain rich personal experience and association with many exciting people from the local area and across New Jersey making appearances and speaking. Because the Miss New Jersey Local scholarship preliminary is part of the Miss New Jersey and Miss America program, you will represent the Miss New Jersey Local area at the Miss New Jersey Competition held in Atlantic City in June. The winner of the Miss New  Jersey Competition travels to Atlantic City to compete in the Miss America Competition. At each level, winners and alternates receive scholarship money that will help further your education.
